It has been quite a while since the last post- though not on purpose in any way.
Spring is here in BC, and both doggies have been enjoying some sunshine outside. Kay has been working more than last year, so she is able to be on the computer to post in the blog less as often... though she admits she has still found time to waste time on computer games.
As for my health- some good and some "bad" updates to pass along. My diabetes is in check- my medicine is working- and I have been able to gain some weight back. My back knee is still stiff, but it's not popping any more when I bend it, so I guess my ACL injury is better.
The main development the past few weeks has more bothered the family than myself. True to my Lhasa Apso heritage and canine diabetes progression, I now have cataracts in both my eyes, so I can't see very well any more- though to be truthful, I could never see very well to begin with because of all the hair in my face. I see better when there is light, so the family now makes sure they leave the lights on when they go out. They have also promised to try not to move the furniture around, but I still walk into it quite regularly... but that's no real change either since I've always accidentally walked into things. [Kay points out now that at least I won't get into fights with the mirror anymore because I can't see my reflection and jump to the conclusion that another dog has entered the house to take my stuff!]
Westley of course could care less about my condition- and it is only recently that he has actually given me a head start on the food dish without having to be restrained by Paul. Though, part of me wonders if that is because of all the dog food warnings out there... he's just waiting to see if it is safe for him to eat it first...
Anyways, my prayers to the families who have lost their family members due to the dog food problems- and I guess the cats too.
Senseless short cuts in the name of profits is just horrible, even if it leads my family to buy Campbells Chunky Beef stew for my dinner instead of real dog food. I'm willing to eat it cold, it's only sissy dogs like Westley that go over board and demand it to be heated...

{Every time you are on TV, I can bark loudly, and then I get cookies to get me to shut up. I hope you go a long way in the playoffs!
