My Birthday!

  • Mood: Very Happy and excited about cake!
  • Music: Soccer report is still on!
  • Treats I'm Eating: I had steak today, and some carrots, and now cake!
  • Where's Westley: looking at my cake too- he's jealous!
Today was my birthday.

We celebrated by having steak for dinner [my request], but had potato salad, bean salad and Thai noodle salad with Garlic Bread instead of fruit salad.  I'm not mad though- I got steak.

I also got a goodie wrapped in paper- Westley got a smaller one, mainly to distract him from mine.

K just baked me a yummy carrot cake, which I am now watching cool as K posts in my blog for me.  It smells very tasty and I can't wait to eat it!

Well, happy birthday. 10 years old, & if D'Artagnan is like Sadie, has'nt really grown up. Having alot of puppy left in a dog is a good thing when they get older.

It's a sad day here in the Twin Cities, the 35-W bridge over the Mississippi River collapsed during rush hour today. It's a really bad scene, but as always during a tragidy, it brings out the best in people. Minnesota can be proud of the actions of it's people in the face of such a tragic event. God bless those dead & injured.

We saw the bridge collapse on the news and were very surprised! It's the second bridge problem in the states in over a week.

We continue to pray for anyone who is injured or has lost a loved one; whether they are in Minnesota, in a country effected by crazy weather [there is unfortunately too many to list] or in a country marred by violence and fighting... sadly there are way too many to list there as well.

Just think, if we all were as friendly as dogs, perhaps there wouldn't be these many conflicts in the world.

D'Artagnan is scared enough of bridges as it is.
